Our capacity to respond to the needs of the community is dependent upon the participation and support of residents, service providers and other groups in the target area. E/BFSC's Capacity Building Program is designed to develop and expand programs and supports for families and children at the neighborhood level. E/BFSC Capacity Building services and activities include:
COMMUNITY MINI-GRANTS invest dollars and other resources in residents to support unique programs or events
CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT AWARENESS CAMPAIGN raises awareness of child abuse and neglect by sharing resources and information with the community
COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND ENGAGEMENT activities identify resources and expand supports available to children, families and the community
PARTNER DEVELOPMENT activities assist partners, comprised of residents and other organizations to provide supportive services to children, families and the community
MONTHLY COMMUNITY NETWORKING forums create an opportunity for residents and service providers to share information
FULL SERVICE COMMUNITY SCHOOL is collaboration with Browne Junior High School and other community stakeholders and is a vehicle for strengthening the school, families and communities to improve student learning
