E/BFSC Funders

District of Columbia Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA).  CFSA provides funds to E/BFSC and the HFTC Collaboratives to provide community-based child welfare services. The neighborhood-based services and supports are designed to preserve and reunite families by reducing or eliminating the possibility of children being removed from their families or community. E/BFSC’s provides primary and secondary prevention services to ensure that children are safe, families are strong and communities are vibrant.

The Community Partnership for the Prevention of Homelessness (TCP).  E/BFSC receives funds from TCP to provide comprehensive case management and housing relocation services for homeless families with children. 

United Planning Organization (UPO).  E/BFSC has been awarded the Ward 5 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) to build capacity to assist the families and individuals in Ward 5 to become more self sufficient by securing employment, increasing education attainment and by removing social barriers to economic success.

Progressive Life Center (PLC).  E/BFSC is a member of the Bridge Builder’s Coalition, PLC.  Under this coalition, E/BFSC will provide family preservation and family group decision making services to youth returning to the community from the juvenile justice system and their families.

Fatherhood Education, Empowerment and Development (FEED).  E/BFSC and the HFTC Collaboratives have received a 5 year grant from the Federal Government to deliver services designed to support fathers' involvement in the lives of their children.
