Youth Aftercare Services
E/BFSC provides community-based support network for young adults that have achieved reunification, kinship, guardianship, adoption or are preparing for or have achieved independence, and who have exited or are in the process of exiting from the child welfare system. E/BFSC staff partner with CFSA staff, independent living program staff, and most importantly, the families of these youth to plan for a smooth transition to a safe, stable, and productive adult life in the community. Following the youth’s exit from foster care, E/BFSC staff provided on-going case management, often for extended periods, in an effort to ensure the young adult’s stability.
